Dante Moore injury: Ducks star out with concussion after ugly hit leads to USC suspension

Oregon quarterback Dante Moore is expected to return this season after suffering a concussion during a game against USC on Saturday night. The injury occurred during a scramble in the red zone, where Moore took a hit to the head from Trojans linebacker Desman Stephens, leaving him motionless on the turf. The incident sparked a melee on the field and led to a stoppage in play, with Moore being taken off the field on a stretcher and carted to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

Following the game, Oregon head coach Dan Lanning provided an update, stating that Moore was in recovery and moving, though cautioning against premature assessments. USC announced that defensive linebacker Desman Stephens would be suspended for the team's next game, and Stephens issued an apology for the hit. Moore had completed eight of ten passes for Oregon prior to the injury, and was replaced by Nebraska transfer Dylan Raiola, who went on to complete 19 of 25 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns. Oregon is currently on a bye week and will face UCLA in a game on October 10.
