Chargers’ Genesis Smith grabs interception of the year candidate against Josh Allen

In the opening half of Week 3's NFL action in Orchard Park, New York, the Los Angeles Chargers and Buffalo Bills found themselves in an intriguing situation. The Chargers were trailing 10-3 against the Bills, who were 0-2 in the season at the time. Quarterback Josh Allen had already thrown two interceptions in this early portion of the game, one of which could very well be the interception of the year.

As the Bills faced a 2nd-and-6 in their own territory, Allen attempted a post route to receiver D.J. Moore. However, the pass ended up directly in the hands of Chargers cornerback Genesis Smith.
