25-Year-Old Premanand Maharaj Disciple Dies After Fall From 4th Floor Of Vrindavan Ashram, Probe Underway

A 25-year-old man, identified as Deepak Lodhi, died after falling from the fourth floor of the Gau Kripa Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan's Varah Ghat area on Friday morning. Police are investigating the incident as a potential suicide, but are examining all possible angles as the cause of death remains unclear. Lodhi, a resident of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, was one of around 40 to 50 seekers staying at the ashram where they engaged in spiritual practices.

He reportedly jumped from the terrace around 10:30 am, landing on the road about six feet from the building. Upon arrival, emergency services rushed him to a hospital where doctors found severe injuries, including a severed genital area. The body was sent for post-mortem examination and a forensic team was called to collect evidence.

Police are also investigating the circumstances inside Lodhi's room and other evidence related to the case. The post-mortem report and forensic findings are expected to clarify the exact cause and circumstances of his death.
