St. Louis Cardinals Rally Not Enough as Bullpen Implodes Against Brewers

Michael McGreevy's pitching kept the Cardinals in the contest, but the offense's performance fell short against Brewers' starter Robert Gasser. The Brewers took an early lead in the bottom of the first inning when Garrett Mitchell singled, and Brice Turang doubled to score Mitchell, making it 1-0 Milwaukee. The Cardinals' bullpen failed to prevent more damage in subsequent innings, ultimately sealing a 8-4 loss for the Cardinals.
