Oracle layoffs 2026: Company cuts 546 cloud workers jobs in US as AI spending rises

Oracle's cloud infrastructure business, which generated $7.4 billion in quarterly revenue in Q1 fiscal 2027, is growing rapidly, while the workforce has shrunk by 13% year over year. In fiscal 2026, Oracle cut 21,000 employees, leaving 141,000 staff members.
