Nation counting on you, Tinubu tells new military officers

President Bola Tinubu has addressed newly commissioned military officers, urging them to uphold the Constitution, protect Nigerians, and remain committed to discipline, honor, and selfless service. The charge was given at the Combined Passing Out Parade of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna, where cadets from various courses were commissioned.

Tinubu, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, emphasized that the nation is counting on these officers to demonstrate professionalism, courage, and integrity in their duties. He praised the NDA for adapting its training programs to address modern warfare challenges, highlighting the focus on counter-terrorism, technological innovation, international partnerships, and global recognition.

The president reminded the officers of their constitutional duties to safeguard the nation and maintain professional standards. The event was attended by notable military officials, government representatives, and leaders from various Officers' Wives Associations.
