He said his years in Ghanaian politics had toughened him against insults, and they would not deter him from pursuing what he believed was best for Ghana and Africa.

Mahama insisted he didn't mind being insulted, citing his previous electoral defeat and the vilification he faced as evidence of his unshakeable resolve. He emphasized that his priority was doing what he thought was in the country's best interest, even amid criticism. The President also addressed the issue of abusive content on social media platforms like TikTok, stating that while he supported freedom of expression, he believed there needed to be a balance.

He asked the audience what they thought should be done about the issue, suggesting that simply allowing unrestricted speech might not be the best solution.
