I didn’t know Ogogo was battling health issues – Peter Fatomilola

Veteran Yoruba actor, Peter Fatomilola, expressed surprise upon learning that fellow actor, Taiwo Hassan, also known as Ogogo, had been dealing with health issues prior to Ogogo's passing. Fatomilola revealed this detail in an upcoming interview with African A-List, a clip from which was shared on Saturday. Ogogo's daughter had previously called for support in handling her father's health condition before his death.

Fatomilola, who considered Ogogo like a son, admitted he was unaware of the actor's health situation until his child made it public. He stated, "In the industry, he is like a son to me. Personally, I can't say I heard that he had challenges. Until recently, when his child spoke out and made things public." Fatomilola emphasized the importance of seeking guidance from more knowledgeable individuals when someone becomes aware of a challenge someone else is facing.

The actor also shared that he was working on constructing a house with his late senior wife, Adawole, prior to her passing. The building had reached the lintel level at the time of her death. Fatomilola expressed that this was the only major project left unfulfilled before his wife's demise. Ogogo's burial took place in Ogun State following his death on August 23.

His death followed reports of his health issues and a public plea by his daughter for assistance in his treatment.
