Russian strike on Kyiv office building kills at least four

A Russian missile and drone attack struck Kyiv overnight on September 25, causing fires and damaging buildings in the city. According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, a commercial building was destroyed in the Podilskyi district after being hit by a Russian drone. Another structure in the Solomyanskyi district suffered damage from debris left behind by a drone.

Additionally, a fire erupted in an open area near a building in the Solomyanskyi district. Initial reports indicate that a 25-story residential building was struck by a drone, resulting in one fatality. Earlier, Ukraine's Air Force had warned that Russian drones were headed towards Kyiv, prompting the declaration of air raid alerts due to the imminent threat of missiles and drones.

The previous night, on September 24, Russian ballistic missiles had targeted Kyiv, resulting in two deaths and eight injuries. The explosions caused damage to a maternity hospital and residential buildings. In the early hours of September 25, Russia launched 282 attack drones of various types, along with Zircon anti-ship missiles and Iskander-M, S-400, and KN-23 ballistic missiles, as per the Air Force's report.
