Sybiha: Russia Must Be Held Accountable For Another Night Of Terror In Ukraine

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has strongly condemned Russia's latest overnight assault on Ukraine, which resulted in the tragic loss of a 14-year-old child in Kyiv and left 43 people injured, according to UATV English. The Danish intelligence agency has cautioned that Russian hybrid operations could escalate to another "night of Russian terror," including the utilization of jet-powered Shahed drones.

Sybiha highlighted the devastating impact of the attack, stating that a 14-year-old child perished in his own home while 43 others were injured in Kyiv. The minister also revealed that Russia targeted the building of Ukraine's High Council of Justice, an integral part of the nation's judicial system. Emphasizing the need for the international community to remain vigilant against Russia's attacks, Sybiha stressed that the perpetrators of such heinous crimes would face accountability and that justice would ultimately prevail for the affected individuals.

Sybiha firmly asserted that Russia's disregard for justice does not absolve it from being held accountable for its actions. In fact, he emphasized, Russia must answer for its crimes. The foreign minister called for continued support from Ukraine's international partners to maintain pressure on Moscow, including the deployment of additional interceptor missiles to bolster Ukraine's air defense capabilities, the imposition of stricter sanctions against Russia, and sustained international pressure.

This latest attack comes amid Russia's ongoing use of drones and missiles against Ukrainian cities and vital infrastructure. Ukraine has repeatedly urged its partners to enhance air defense capabilities and intensify the pressure on Moscow in response to Russia's relentless assault.
