Karnataka veterinary job scam: How KPSC aspirants paid Rs 1.52 crore for leaked papers

Bengaluru witnessed a significant boost in economic ties between Karnataka and Singapore as state industries minister MB Patil visited Singapore. During his visit, Patil held talks with Singapore's minister of state for trade and industry, Gan Siow Huang, to strengthen cooperation on investment and economic development. The discussions focused on expanding collaboration in advanced industries such as aerospace and defense, semiconductors, aviation MRO, and other high-tech sectors.

Patil highlighted the potential for deeper collaboration in these fields, with progress to be pursued through the Invest Karnataka Forum and the Singapore Enterprise Centre in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, CapitaLand Investment, a global real asset manager, expressed its keenness to expand its data center capacity in Karnataka. Currently developing a 42-megawatt facility at International Tech Park Bangalore, CapitaLand plans to further increase its presence, investing around Rs 2,000 crore in the project.

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC), a key player in the data center industry, also showed interest in expanding its operations in Karnataka. Operating 34 data centers across 10 cities in India, with over 613 MW of IT capacity, STT GDC is investing Rs 5,000 crore to develop a 100-megawatt data center campus on KIADB land in Devanahalli. The company's expansion plans aim to bolster Karnataka's position as a hub for advanced data center infrastructure.
