Germany’s Jürgen Klopp provides injury update on Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz

In Germany's debut as the national team manager, Jürgen Klopp faced several setbacks during the UEFA Nations League match against the Netherlands. Early in the game, midfielder Jamal Musiala strained his thigh and was substituted as a precautionary measure. Later in the first half, striker Kai Havertz also suffered an injury and had to be replaced.

Despite being outplayed for the majority of the match, Germany managed to secure a draw, albeit nearly a clean sheet victory, until Cody Gakpo scored a goal in stoppage time. Following the game, Klopp provided an update on the injuries sustained by his players. "Both will undergo MRI scans tonight and then we'll have the diagnoses," said Klopp.

"They're probably out for us, but I hope they'll be back soon [for their clubs]." It is likely that both Musiala and Havertz will be sent back to their respective clubs for rehabilitation during the remainder of the international break. The physical nature of the match might have been less taxing on Musiala's health if he had been absent from the game altogether.
