Dodgers Break Attendance Record for Second Straight Year

The Los Angeles Dodgers have set a new fan-attendance record at Dodger Stadium for the 2025-2026 season, selling 4,034,219 tickets, according to the team's announcement on Thursday. This surpasses the previous record of 4,012,470 fans established last year. The Dodgers have now achieved two consecutive seasons with over four million fans in attendance.

The team's success has translated to their road games as well, leading Major League Baseball in road attendance with 2,820,413 fans, averaging 36,159 at opposing stadiums in 2026.

Manager Dave Roberts attributed the high attendance to a combination of factors. He noted that the stadium hosts fans from diverse backgrounds, creating an exciting atmosphere. Roberts also highlighted the team's investment in star players, stating, "If you build it, they will come." This strategy has evidently paid off, as the Dodgers attract a large and enthusiastic fan base.

The presence of stars like Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, along with notable American players such as Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts, further contributes to the team's appeal. Roberts emphasized that the Dodgers offer an exceptional baseball experience, making it one of the best places to enjoy a Major League Baseball game.
