UK to Keep Sanctions on 2 Russian Oligarchs Despite EU Compromise
UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham privately told President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday that he disagreed with the EU’s decision to delist Russian oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman, according to Bloomberg. The move was a compromise that extended EU sanctions on about 3,000 individuals and entities for three years on Monday. The decision prompted Latvia and Estonia to act nationally.
