Two early morning fires reported in Hyderabad; no casualties

In the early hours of Thursday morning, September 24, 2026, two separate fires broke out in Hyderabad, with no casualties reported in either incident. The first fire struck a private travel bus carrying 38 passengers near Karmanghat, while the second blaze occurred at a plastic water bottle manufacturing unit in Hayathnagar.

The Fire Department received the first call at 2:13 a.m., reporting a moving private travel bus en route to Srisailam near the Karmanghat Hanuman Temple. Upon arrival, fire personnel from the LB Nagar and Malakpet areas quickly responded. A multipurpose tender from LB Nagar and a water tender from Malakpet were the first on the scene. Firefighters managed to control the blaze, and all fire vehicles departed the location around 5 a.m.

Approximately seven hours later, at 5:34 a.m., another alarm was raised regarding a major fire at a G+2 building in Hayathnagar. This structure housed a plastic water bottle manufacturing unit. Three fire vehicles were dispatched to the scene, including a water bowser from Hayathnagar, an MPT from LB Nagar, and another water bowser from Malkajgiri. Initial assessments suggested the fire had an electrical origin, with no injuries reported in this incident either.
