Bigg Boss 20 has surpassed 20 million weekly streaming viewers in just its second full week of airing, marking a significant milestone for a non-cricket show this year. According to Ormax Media's StreamView data, the Salman Khan-hosted program attracted over 20 million unique viewers in India during the week ending September 20, a 3.2 million viewer increase from the previous week. The September 6 premiere was already hailed as the biggest opening day for a reality show on JioHotstar.

Salman Khan addressed the issue of body-shaming trolls, defending his co-contestants Varun Dhawan and Sohail over online abuse related to their appearances. He stated, "That is wrong," and took on the trolls by defending new mothers against mockery for weight gain after childbirth. Salman also revealed that he often faces comments about his weight and age, daring his critics to confront him in person.

Taking off his hat, jacket, and shirt on camera, he invited anyone to judge his current physique and humorously admitted that he can no longer maintain the youthful look from his debut film, Maine Pyaar Kiya.
