Meta Connect 2026: New AI glasses get Muse AI, hearing enhancement and Dolby Atmos

Meta Connect 2026 showcased Meta's next generation of wearable technology, featuring new AI glasses with Muse AI, hearing enhancement, and Dolby Atmos capabilities. The new line of Meta glasses is offered in various styles, including hearing enhancement glasses and Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses, through a partnership with EssilorLuxottica.

Muse AI, Meta's personal AI agent, is designed to help users perform tasks such as sending emails, booking travel, filling out forms, and making purchases. It runs on Muse Secure VM and is powered by Meta's Muse Spark AI model. Muse AI aims to enhance users' attention rather than distract them, allowing them to get the most out of Meta's technology while staying present in the moment.

The company also announced Dolby Atmos Capture, Dynamic Photo, Landscape Crop Mode, and Private Processing features for AI glasses, making it the first consumer device to allow users to record and experience videos in Dolby Atmos. Hearing enhancement, an FDA-cleared software for adults with mild to moderate hearing loss, will be available on select styles later this year and costs $149.99 or can be added to supported AI glasses through a Meta One subscription.
