While it's impossible to definitively confirm whether research-related insights have truly slipped away, it's clear that such leakage would have been technically feasible due to the existing regulations and systems proving ill-equipped to prevent it.

These events have also brought other German scientific institutions under scrutiny, raising a fundamental question: How effectively do universities and research centers protect sensitive knowledge from foreign actors?

This issue must be thoroughly investigated at once, with any inaction being highly negligent. China has been operating a comprehensive system of technology and know-how transfer for years, central to its economic and military development. Germany's universities and research centers possess a wealth of knowledge in areas ranging from Artificial Intelligence to Quantum Computing and state-of-the-art cyber security, which are crucial in shaping the digital future.

While many of these are fundamental research applicable to economic gains, certain "dual-use" technologies can also be utilized for military purposes.
