Dolly Parton's nephew ordered by court to stay out of estate dealings amid extortion claims

Dolly Parton's estate has filed court documents accusing her nephew, Bryan Seaver, of threatening violence and destroying her legacy. Seaver, who is the owner of a security company previously chosen by Parton to handle her security detail, sent a series of threatening messages over the past few weeks. These messages escalated after Parton's death, with Seaver allegedly boasting about setting up a podcast to tarnish her brand partnerships and even calling himself an "international arms dealer."

The documents reveal numerous text messages and emails from Seaver, starting just before Parton's passing. He threatened to ruin Dolly's brand and claimed he had experience as a private military contractor during the Iraq War to bolster his threats. As a result of these actions, She’s Alive, the entity managing and protecting Dolly Parton’s professional property and business, terminated Seaver and his security company.

The court order seeks to prevent Seaver from contacting anyone associated with She’s Alive and to keep him away from their business dealings. Parton, a renowned country music artist, has written hundreds of songs that have sold over 100 million copies worldwide.
