Bhiwandi MP Suresh Mhatre Felicitates Teachers, Says Educators Shape Nation’s Future

Bhiwandi's MP, Suresh Mhatre, widely known as Balya Mama, recently praised teachers at an Ideal Teacher Felicitation Ceremony organized by the Bhiwandi Panchayat Samiti. He emphasized that teachers play a crucial role in shaping the country's future by imparting knowledge, discipline, and a sense of responsibility to students. Mhatre shared his own educational experience, noting that he studied at a Zilla Parishad school, which provided him with a solid foundation for his future.

While acknowledging the growing significance of English-medium schools, he stressed the importance of Zilla Parishad schools, especially in rural areas. Mhatre also highlighted the need for student discipline and respect for teachers. At the event, eight teachers were honored for their contributions to education, including Preeti Bhoir, Devyani Patil, Manisha Pawar, Reshma Aryamane, Suvarna Thakare, Geeta Chaskar, Sharmila Patil, and Nandu Naik.

Additionally, three students—Tripti Bhoir, Srishti Patil, and Ismat Sheikh—were recognized for their outstanding performance in the scholarship examination. The ceremony was attended by Panchayat Samiti Administrator and Block Development Officer Govind Ghorpade, former Panchayat Samiti chairman Vikas Bhoir, and other dignitaries.
