Among many miscues, Manchester United’s biggest mistake was passing on Harry Kane

Louis Saha, a former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur striker, has expressed regret over the club's failure to secure a deal for Harry Kane in 2023. Saha, who joined Manchester United from Fulham in 2004 and won multiple trophies at Old Trafford, believes United could have lifted more silverware had they signed the England striker.

Saha claims Kane was a "bargain" at £100 million for Bayern Munich and argues that United would be winning the Premier League and potentially the Champions League with him in their squad. Instead, Manchester United opted to sign Rasmus Højlund from Atalanta for €79 million, a move that ultimately did not succeed as Højlund is now playing in Italy with Napoli.

In contrast, Kane has continued to deliver outstanding numbers for Bayern Munich, with Saha suggesting that United could have been a contender for multiple titles with the prolific striker on their books.
