UG-NEET: Third round counselling from September 24

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced that it will commence the third round of seat allotment for medical and dental courses starting September 24. Candidates who are eligible for this round must deposit a caution fee by September 28, depending on the course and seat type. If the caution deposit is paid, candidates can enter new options from September 25 to 29.

The caution deposit amounts are ₹1 lakh for government medical seats and all dental seats; ₹12 lakh for government and private medical seats; and ₹25 lakh for all other seat types. Candidates who have already been admitted to a medical or dental course are exempt from the caution deposit, but fees paid for other courses will not count as the caution deposit.

Failure to report to the college and complete admission after being allotted a seat in the third round will result in the forfeiture of the caution deposit.
