Tatipamula erupts in celebration as Uttam makes an emotional homecoming

On Wednesday, Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy made a triumphant return to his ancestral village of Tatipamula in Tirmulagiri mandal, Suryapet district. The visit was more than an official trip; it was an emotional homecoming for the minister, who cherished his childhood memories of the village.

Villagers lined the roads, gathering in large numbers to witness the occasion. Upon arrival, Uttam Kumar Reddy unveiled plans for new schools, infrastructure, and housing in the village. He reminisced about his late father, Nallamala Purushotham Reddy, who had expressed a desire to revisit Tatipamula before his passing. Although that wish could not be fulfilled, it inspired the minister to commit to long-lasting improvements for his hometown.

The Minister recalled his own childhood days in Tatipamula, expressing immense joy and satisfaction from reuniting with old friends and familiar faces. Uttam Kumar Reddy assured that a ₹2-crore new primary school building, funded through Telangana GENCO, would be constructed in the village before the next academic year, with strict adherence to quality construction standards. Additionally, a ₹5-crore Zilla Parishad High School building was under development using CSR support.

Beyond the schools, the minister highlighted a ₹16-crore check dam-cum-bridge and the sanctioning of 80 Indiramma houses for the village as major infrastructure projects. Local representatives urged for more Indiramma houses, hostel facilities, and a fire station for the broader Thungathurthi area, emphasizing that constituency boundaries took a backseat on this significant day.
