Red Bull Confirms Isack Hadjar For 2027 F1 Season With New Contract

Red Bull Racing has confirmed that Isack Hadjar will continue racing with Oracle Red Bull Racing through the 2027 Formula 1 season, as he has signed a new contract extension. Hadjar, who turned 21 during the 2026 season, had previously been promoted from Red Bull’s junior team, Racing Bulls, at the end of the 2025 season. He took over from Yuki Tsunoda and has been performing consistently, delivering points finishes.

Hadjar missed the last three Grands Prix due to a wrist injury during the summer break, but is set to resume racing this weekend at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Hadjar expressed his excitement about staying with Oracle Red Bull Racing and mentioned feeling the scale and ambition of the organization right from the start. He emphasized his dedication to the team, stating that he has been working hard to live up to the faith placed in him.

Team Principal Laurent Mekies expressed his excitement about continuing the journey with Hadjar, highlighting his excellent performance on and off track considering it is Hadjar’s second Formula 1 season. Mekies praised Hadjar for immersing himself in the team, working closely with engineers, and his eagerness to learn and improve.

The extension of Hadjar’s contract comes after a challenging period due to his injury, but the statement confirms the team's confidence in his abilities and their commitment to achieving more successes this season as they work towards a common goal.
