Nigeria Police officer caught on camera saying Peter Obi, Igbos can’t be President [VIDEO]

A Nigeria Police officer has been captured on video making disparaging remarks about Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC. The officer suggested that Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, cannot become Nigeria's President due to his Igbo identity. He also commented on Obi's age and claimed that even if he were to win an election, he would not be able to serve a complete term.

The officer stated that the 2027 presidential race is between President Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC. The officer expressed his belief that Obi should be removed from the race, stating that "Igbo can never become Nigerian President. No way. The person will turn Abuja into the Yahoo office, they will use you for ritual."

He further suggested that even if Obi were to win, President Tinubu would use his money to undermine him, rendering Obi's votes from Igbo land ineffective. The officer dismissed Obi as a "small child" and asserted that no Igbo person or woman can ever become President of Nigeria.
