El presidente de Irán dice que está listo para el "diálogo" pero que no cederá al "acoso" de Trump

The president of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, denounced to the United Nations on Wednesday the United States and Iran's attack on his country and assured that the nation will fight until the last breath if necessary. Pezeshkian took advantage of his intervention at the United Nations General Assembly on this Wednesday to offer dialogue to the United States, with which they could de-escalate the war they have been maintaining for seven months, but warning that they would not bow to the threats of Donald Trump.

It must be clear to Mr. Trump and those seeking to intimidate us that we are ready for dialogue, diplomacy, and negotiations, without accepting the language of force, he declared to the Assembly which this week gathers about 130 international officials in New York. Pezeshkian denounced to the United Nations the coordinated attack launched by the United States and Israel against his country on February 29th, showing the audience photos of the deceased Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and Iranian students who died in the early days of the conflict.

Our innocent people have been the target of cowardly attacks and aggressions imposed on our country, and we defended ourselves with maximum force. The United States and Israel attacked us, he said. We simply defended ourselves. We are not terrorists, he added, asserting that they attacked us, but we did not kneel. A day earlier, in the same forum, Trump said he was deciding whether to reach an agreement with Iran that would allow them to rebuild and create a much larger country than it was before, perhaps one of the largest in the Middle East or even the world, or to annihilate the Islamic Republic quickly, without ever giving them the opportunity to kill and destroy people and countries, leading them to hell.

Trump concluded by assuming that an agreement with Iran would dramatically lower oil prices, but only after the midterm elections in November.
