DVLAverify app now available on iOS as DVLA introduces web verification platform

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has made its DVLAverify app available for download on the Apple App Store for iPhone users. This new capability allows individuals to complete their biometric identity verification remotely using their mobile devices when applying for vehicle registration. The DVLA announced the availability of the app on Wednesday, September 23.

For those without access to a compatible smartphone, the Authority has also launched a web-based verification platform. Through this platform, applicants can verify their identities on any compatible computer equipped with a functional webcam. The DVLA's introduction of these measures aims to ensure continuous service delivery and provide applicants with alternative methods for completing the identity verification process.
