Dolly Parton’s estate accuses her nephew of threatening violence

Dolly Parton's estate has accused her nephew Bryan Seaver of threatening violence and attempting to destroy her legacy and business empire. In court filings submitted on Tuesday, the estate requested a judge to bar Seaver from interacting with the company's employees and business dealings. Court documents reveal a series of threatening messages Seaver allegedly sent over the past several weeks, including claims to set up a podcast to "ruin Dolly's brand partnerships" and calling himself an "international arms dealer."

Seaver, who previously handled Parton's security detail and announced her death from cancer, was terminated by She's Alive, the entity managing and protecting the country music icon's professional property and business. The temporary restraining order seeks to prevent Seaver from coming within 1,000 feet of She's Alive employees, attorneys, and business partners, as well as stopping him from interfering with their business relationships.
