"Wakenya nyinyi ni watu wa nguvu sana," the committed MP declared, emphasizing the strength in unity. This remarkable feat came shortly after Owino made headlines by officially launching The Mwananchi Party as his political vehicle ahead of the highly anticipated 2027 General Election. The party's membership registration process has been streamlined via the *509# USSD platform operated by the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP).

Prospective members can easily register under party code 050, as instructed by Owino. The Embakasi East MP recently announced his political intentions for the 2027 elections, including a potential bid for the Nairobi governorship, during a burial in Central Nyakach, Kisumu County.
