This out-there branding is the bravest design I've seen all year
The visual identity for 2027 World Design Congress is anything but safe and predictable.
Panthers head coach Dave Canales was impressed with his team's performance in their 34-3 victory over the Falcons on Sunday, and linebacker Devin Lloyd's play was the standout highlight. Lloyd, who was a significant offseason addition for Carolina, had previously struggled against the Bears in a Week 1 loss. However, he had an outstanding outing this week that earned high praise from Canales.
Lloyd recorded two interceptions, including a third-quarter pick that he returned for a touchdown, nine tackles, and a sack. Canales stated that he had never witnessed a better performance from a linebacker during his 17-year NFL coaching career. The Panthers' defense, which had previously suffered a poor start, needed to rebound from their opening debacle, and Lloyd's stellar performance on Sunday was a significant step in the right direction.
