Wisconsin quarterback named to Week 3 Manning Award Stars of the Week

Wisconsin quarterback Colton Joseph has been recognized for his Week 3 performance, earning a spot among eight Manning Stars of the Week. Joseph, who led the Badgers to a victory against Eastern Michigan with 362 passing yards, was also named to the preseason watch list. The Manning Award would be the ultimate accolade, but Joseph's dual-threat abilities, evident in his 5.1 yards per carry rushing performance against the Eagles, set him apart.

Through the season's first three games, Joseph has completed 54 of 85 passes for 752 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions. However, he has managed only 82 rushing yards on 25 attempts. Joseph, a transfer from Old Dominion, had rushed for 1,007 yards a year ago.
