Prudential Africa CEO reaffirms commitment to raising industry standards

Prudential Africa's CEO, Emmanuel Mokobi Aryee, has reaffirmed the company's dedication to elevating industry standards within the life insurance sector. Prudential Zenith Life Insurance Limited, a subsidiary of Prudential Africa Services Limited, has secured the top spot in Nigeria as a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and also ranks among the top 100 MDRT companies worldwide.

The achievement underscores the robust growth and excellence of Prudential Zenith Life's advisers, contributing to Prudential Africa's overall progress. Over the past two years, the number of qualified advisers increased significantly, with 275 in the first half of 2026 and 662 throughout 2025. This surge is fueled by Prudential plc's sponsorship of the MDRT, a three-year global partnership launched in 2025, aimed at providing advisers across Prudential's markets access to global learning, leadership development, peer networking, and best practices.

Aryee emphasized that the increasing recognition of financial planning among individuals and families in Africa presents an opportunity for advisers to positively impact their communities. Prudential Zenith Life's success is attributed to a structured pathway for advisers, encompassing product and sales training, needs-based advisory coaching, mentorship, and digital tools to foster trust and address customer needs.
