2027: NDC begins mobilisation of polling agents nationwide

The Nigeria Democratic Congress has initiated preparations for the upcoming 2027 general elections, instructing its state and Local Government Area chairmen to compile and harmonize party agents across the nation. The directive, released by the party's National Publicity Secretary, mandates the formation of two distinct sets of agents, one for National Assembly elections and another for gubernatorial and state House of Assembly contests.

These lists must be vetted and approved by the party leadership, including the presidential candidate, before any training can commence. The party emphasized that disagreements between leadership and candidates regarding agent selection would be resolved in favor of the candidate's preference.
