Verici Dx to launch TranscripTx genetic test in Q4 2026

Medical diagnostics company Verici Dx plans to launch a new genetic test called TranscripTx in the fourth quarter of 2026, according to a press release. TranscripTx is designed to identify genetic variations that may affect how organ transplant recipients respond to therapy and evaluate their risk of graft failure. Utilizing next-generation sequencing, the test examines genetic variants in peripheral blood RNA and will be provided as a laboratory developed test in Verici Dx's CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited laboratory.

The test employs AI-driven gene selection based on peer-reviewed research and is the only multi-gene panel developed specifically for transplant recipients. TranscripTx can detect genetic splice variants that are beyond the scope of cell-free DNA technologies. Verici Dx specializes in clinical diagnostics for organ transplant patients, with their primary product being Tutivia, a test for early detection of acute rejection post-kidney transplant.

The company's CEO, Sara Barrington, expressed excitement about TranscripTx, stating that it translates RNA science into practical insights and offers the research community unprecedented biological understanding. Verici Dx is based in Cardiff, UK, and Franklin, Tennessee.
