Unique Prizes, Bursary Highlight GKS Youths’ Assembly in Lagos

The 2026 Youths’ Assembly of the God’s Kingdom Society (GKS) concluded with a Special Thanksgiving Service in Lagos, where prizes were distributed to participating branches and individuals. The prizes included sporting awards and winners of the Bible Quiz competition held at the Apapa Service Hall. The Lagos Chapter of the League of Freedomites, a Church philanthropic organization, presented bursaries worth N100,000 annually to three dedicated, hardworking, and indigent youths studying in higher education institutions.

The bursaries were awarded to Esther Obarafo (Federal University Oye-Ekiti), Vera Ohunyo (National Open University of Nigeria), and Deborah Ekiseowei (Federal University Otuoke). The Bible Quiz was conducted by Senior and Executive Minister Brother J.N.W. Preye Chukwudi, with Lagos Island Branch emerging overall winner. Other notable winners included individuals who received memorable prizes, such as Brother Efe Enukpere and Sister Soyem Okudaye.

Additionally, the Youth Assembly featured unique prizes, with N1 million donated to branches for upholding the exhortation of Saint Paul in Hebrews 10:25, which encouraged members to attend Bible Study meetings. The assembly was presided over by Minister Timothy Mazi-Rapu, with representatives from London, Midland, and Northern zones participating in the quiz competition.
