Syarat Baucar Kita Selangor diperluas untuk bantu lebih banyak keluarga

Exco Anfaal Saari has announced the expansion of eligibility criteria for the Baucar Kita Selangor (BKS) application to assist more families dealing with rising living costs. BKS, implemented on a priority basis, aims to help vulnerable groups such as single mothers and strong-headed single heads of households. Initially, the application opened to households earning below RM5,000.

Anfaal stated that this targeted approach ensures priority for vulnerable groups before expanding access to higher-earning households. Each expansion adds more eligible groups without reducing the eligibility of those who were previously qualified, according to the statement. Applicants still undergoing assessment or categorized as rejected and appeal processes will also be reassessed based on the new eligibility criteria.

Key requirements for BKS applications include being a Malaysian citizen and registered voter residing in Selangor. Couples or single parents must have at least one child under 18 years old and a household income of RM8,000 or less. Only one recipient per household is allowed, not an active recipient of the Selangor Basic Income Assistance.
