Spellbook of Skill teaches development skills, tutorials, and guides to help individuals level up their craft from fundamentals to advanced techniques. The guides are structured, practical, and language and framework agnostic, ensuring the skills learned can be applied across different stacks. The entire project was built using OpenCode, wired through OpenRouter, and powered by DeepSeek V4 Pro 0813. This setup proved that a budget model stack can indeed ship a complete open-source project.
The project is organized by category, starting with Content Creation, which includes structured prompts and guides for writing clear technical articles. More categories, such as coding and development workflows, DevOps and deployment, system design and architecture, design and creative development, and career and professional growth, are planned to be added soon. The foundation, including the docs site, contribution flow, and conventions, is solid and ready, while the content library requires growth.
Spellbook of Skill is MIT licensed and open to contributions. Users can add new guides, improve existing ones, or fix any broken content. The contribution process is simple, and all guides should be concise, actionable, and include learning objectives, prerequisites, and a troubleshooting section.
