Prioritise party before giving to Najib fund, PAS members told

PAS treasurer-general Iskandar Abdul Samad has instructed party members to prioritise their duties to the Islamic party over contributing to the fund aimed at settling former Prime Minister Najib Razak's RM50 million fine. Iskandar emphasized that PAS members should prioritize building the new headquarters for the party near Putrajaya, which would also amount to approximately RM50 million.

He added that members should also participate in the Infaq Istiqamah monthly donation scheme and their respective local divisions and branches. As PAS treasurer-general, Iskandar urged members to prioritize their responsibilities to the party. He further believed that Umno supporters would likely cover the required amount. When asked if PAS would contribute to the fund launched by Umno to aid Najib in serving his remaining jail term under house arrest, PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man stated that it was left to the party members to decide whether to contribute to Najib's fund.
