Prioritise party before giving to Najib fund, PAS members told

PAS treasurer-general Iskandar Abdul Samad has instructed party members to prioritize their duties to PAS over contributing to the fund aiding in the settlement of former Prime Minister Najib Razak's RM50 million fine. The new headquarters for the Islamic party, situated near Putrajaya, is also estimated to cost around RM50 million.

Iskandar urged PAS members to participate in the Infaq Istiqamah monthly donation scheme and to support their respective local divisions and branches. He emphasized that as the PAS treasurer-general, he strongly encourages party members to fulfill their responsibilities to the organization. Iskandar also suggested that Umno supporters could potentially cover the necessary amount.

When questioned about PAS contributing to the fund initiated by Umno for this purpose, deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man stated that it is left to individual members to decide on contributing to Najib's fund.
