PHARMEDI VIETNAM 2026 opens in HCMC with first international conference

PHARMEDI VIETNAM 2026 opened in Ho Chi Minh City with its inaugural international conference, running from September 22-24 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC). The three-day event attracted more than 600 brands, companies, and exhibitors from over 20 countries, occupying 12,000 square meters of exhibition space and welcoming more than 12,000 trade visitors.

Organized by GLOEX and Informa Markets with the Ministry of Health's support, PHARMEDI VIETNAM serves as a platform for businesses to showcase healthcare products, technologies, and solutions while connecting with potential customers and partners.

The healthcare sector in the ASEAN region is experiencing growth and transformation, driven by rising demand, technological advances, digital transformation, and AI. In 2025, ASEAN attracted nearly $244 billion in foreign investment, with medical devices recognized as a priority sector under the ASEAN Regional Investment Promotion Action Plan 2025-2030.

Vietnam's medical device market reached approximately $2 billion in 2025, bolstered by factors such as rising demand for healthcare services, an aging population, improving living standards, and the modernization of the healthcare system.

PHARMEDI VIETNAM has been a key platform for business exchange and professional networking in Vietnam since its inception over two decades ago. In 2026, the exhibition will expand in scale, professional content, and business networking activities, covering a broad range of healthcare segments, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare technology, infection control, surgery, intensive care, anaesthesia, rehabilitation, home healthcare, elderly care, digital health, and more.

The International Conference, a new feature of PHARMEDI VIETNAM 2026, will take place over three days and focus on investing in healthcare's future through innovation, infrastructure, digital health, and sustainable growth.
