Migrant Workers’ Union calls for State-funded Rescue and Repatriation Fund for victimised migrant workers
The Union said the proposed fund would provide a reliable source of state support for migrant workers caught in difficult or dangerous circumstances in destination countries, particularly where private organisations, churches or individuals lack the financial resources to intervene.
