Man drowns in Nanyuki hotel swimming pool
A 33-year-old man drowned while swimming at Sportsman Arms Club in Nanyuki, Laikipia County, on Sunday afternoon. Police identified the deceased as Patrick Mathenge, who had checked into the hotel at about 1pm on September 20, 2026, before later proceeding to the swimming pool.
