Kyler Murray will return at QB for the Vikings this week after clearing the concussion protocol

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray has cleared the NFL concussion protocol and will return to action this week against the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay, as confirmed by coach Kevin O’Connell. Murray made his debut for Minnesota on September 13, but a hit to the side of his head from Packers safety Javon Bullard during the game led to a concussion, forcing him out after just 11 plays.

The 23-year-old then made a strong comeback in the Vikings' 39-22 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, leading the team with 29 consecutive points, including three touchdown throws. Murray's performance helped the Vikings secure a victory against the Bears as well, where he completed 23 of 39 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns while enduring six sacks and maintaining no turnovers over two games.
