JAMB sacks staff for extorting candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has terminated the employment of one of its staff members for extorting unsuspecting candidates. This decision comes as JAMB reaffirms its commitment to eradicating fraud from the admission and examination processes. According to JAMB, the termination of the staff member demonstrates its determination to root out corruption from within the organization, not just from external fraudsters.

The Board warned all employees to cease engaging in any corrupt practices that could undermine the integrity of the Board or exploit candidates and the public.
