The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has dismissed a staff member for extorting unsuspecting candidates, according to a release bulletin issued on Monday. The board's action is part of its renewed efforts to eradicate fraud and misconduct from the admission and examination processes. JAMB cautioned its employees against exploiting candidates or members of the public, emphasizing that any staff member found engaging in conduct that could undermine its operations would face severe consequences, as stated in the bulletin.
