What BJP, Congress ignored in Karnataka jobs scam: Bribes, withholding of marks, leaked papers

In Karnataka, allegations of widespread bribery, withholding of marks, manipulated interview panels, altered tabulation records, tampered answer sheets, and leaked question papers have emerged as significant irregularities in the recruitment process, according to an investigation by The Indian Express. These practices allegedly spanned at least five years and were allegedly perpetrated by officials within the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), including then chief Shivashankarappa S Sahukar.

Despite these claims, the KPSC's interim chairman Dr B Prabhudev stated that the commission is adopting measures to prevent such injustices and eliminate any suspicion or mistrust in future recruitment processes.
