Trump says his planned arch would become a ‘military complex’ able to host drones and snipers

The Republican president likened the planned 250-foot-tall memorial arch to a "military complex/Triumphal Arch," emphasizing its purpose to house, store, and swiftly deploy numerous drones, plus snipers, on both the roof and plaza areas. Additionally, the arch would include extensive storage for sniper ammunition. This new project is part of a series of endeavors by Trump to leave his mark on Washington, including the renovation of the White House ballroom, renaming and refurbishing the Kennedy Center, and rejuvenating the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
