Security forces kill 5 terrorists, recover 23 abductees in operation along N-25 highway near Balochistan's Kalat: ISPR

On September 18-19, security forces engaged in a fierce battle with five terrorists from the terrorist group Fitna-al-Hindustan near Balochistan's Kalat, along the N-25 Karachi-Chaman highway. The terrorists had set up a checkpost aimed at abducting and extorting money from people. The military's media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), announced the successful operation, which resulted in the death of the five terrorists and the recovery of 23 kidnapped individuals from their hideout.

Additionally, six trucks, three buses, and two cars, along with substantial quantities of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, were captured by the security forces. The operation was aimed at disrupting the terrorists' attempts to disrupt traffic and carry out extortion and vehicle snatchings along the Pakistan Expressway. The ISPR highlighted that the operation thwarted the nefarious plans of the India-sponsored terrorist group.

Sanitization operations are ongoing in the surrounding areas to ensure the safety of the local population and national highways. The security forces remain committed to eliminating foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan, as part of their ongoing counter-terrorism efforts under the 'Azm-i-Istehkam' vision.
