Security forces kill 5 terrorists, recover 23 abductees in operation along N-25 highway near Balochistan's Kalat: ISPR

Security forces engaged in a fierce operation along the N-25 highway near Balochistan's Kalat, resulting in the death of five terrorists and the recovery of 23 kidnapped individuals. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) disclosed that the terrorists, affiliated with the Fitna-al-Hindustan group, were attempting to obstruct traffic, conduct ransoms, extort money, and steal vehicles on the highway, also known as the Pakistan Expressway.

Faced with the threat, security forces retaliated during a night of violence between September 18 and September 19. The statement from ISPR highlighted the deaths of the five terrorists and the seizure of 23 abductees, along with six trucks, three buses, two cars, and substantial amounts of weapons, ammunition, and explosives. The security forces are currently conducting further sanitization operations to ensure the eradication of any remaining terrorists and maintain the safety and security of the local population and national highways.

The ongoing campaign against terrorism, aligned with the 'Azm-i-Istehkam' strategy approved by the Federal Apex Committee, will persist with unwavering determination. Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain steadfast in their commitment to eliminating the threat of foreign-sponsored and foreign-supported terrorism from Pakistan.
