PHOTOS: Police raid FCT crime hotspots, arrest 300 suspects

On Saturday, September 19, 2026, the Federal Capital Territory Police Command conducted a raid on crime hotspots, shanties, and unfinished buildings in the FCT. Items seized during the operation included knives, a toy gun, cannabis, and other illicit drugs. The Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Sanusi, emphasized the command's commitment to intelligence-led raids and proactive policing, particularly in areas identified as potential hideouts for criminals.

Sanusi urged residents to avoid drug abuse and seek appropriate support if struggling with substance abuse.
